Blake Lively Let Ryan Reynolds Dye Her Hair and There Is Video Evidence

He actually…did a really good job?!

If I don't end up in a relationship like Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds',  I don't want it. In their latest escapade as Hollywood's version of Marshall & Lilly, Reynolds helped his wife of nine years color her hair. (Remember folks, we're still in a pandemic.)

“That time I f*d my hairdresser,” the Gossip Girl star posted on Valentine's Day, February 14, alongside a timelapse video of Reynolds and Lively sectioning out her hair and applying at-home dye to her roots.

In April 2020, Lively thanked stylist Rona O’Connor for sending over a handmade coloring kit to use during quarantine. “The fact that you trust @vancityreynolds to get this right makes me concerned for your sanity,” she joked at the time. "But who needs hair anyway?"

There's no real way to tell if this video was taken around that time or if Reynolds has had plenty of practice since, but one thing is for sure: the Deadpool actor did an admirable job. “The sectioning is really really good  🤤💁🏻,” Queer Eye's own hair guru, Jonathan Van Ness, commented. Just look at the results:

Never one to miss out on his own chance to troll the mother of his children, Reynolds shared his own video on Valentine's day of Lively sledding down a snowy hill. “My forever valentine for the foreseeable future,” he captioned the Instagram post.

So yeah, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds seem to have this whole quarantine situation all figured out…well, as well as any parents can. In a recent interview with Vogue about the advice she gave new mom Gigi Hadid, Lively let it slip that she was speaking from the closet…where she was hiding from her three daughters.

As for Reynolds, he says the trick to raising his kids with Lively is sticking together. “I just try to be as present as possible. We don’t split up like I shoot movies and my wife shoots movies and we go travel all over the place and we just all go together,” Reynolds shared back in November. “I think that’s been the best part of it is that we really don’t spend a lot of time apart. I get to spend a lot of time with my girls.”
