“When you let your daughter do your makeup blindfolded…”
Channing Tatum Let His Daughter Put Makeup on Him, and the Results Are Iconic
This is a challenge even the most experienced makeup artists might not be up to: giving movie star Channing Tatum a makeover…blindfolded. But dads will do anything for their daughters, and Tatum let his daughter, Everly, use all the cosmetics she wanted.
The actor, whose new children's book is about an exuberant young girl and her dad, shared a mirror selfie on Thursday, April 15 of himself covered in what looks like purple eyeshadow. Plus pink blush. And blue on his eyelids, and magenta on his lips. Dang, she really did a number on her dad.
Tatum's manicure is only a little messy, and he's clearly loving every minute of being dolled up, adding stickers and emojis to the post, on which he wrote “when you let your daughter do your makeup blindfolded…” with three “eyes covered monkey” emojis. That's the look of a proud girl dad if we've ever seen it.
Tatum shares daughter Everly with his ex-wife, Jenna Dewan. The two met on the set up Step Up and were married for 10 years. In her own book, Dewan revealed that the divorce "was the loss of an idealistic future for myself and my life. What does that now look like for me? Where do I begin? I met him when I was 24. I didn’t know life without Chan…Ultimately, now I can honestly say that I’m living in a very joyful new place in my life, and I’m happy about it.” The two now appear to be happily co-parenting Everly.
Tatum praised his daughter on Instagram last September, sharing a picture of her playing on a hilltop and writing, “My best homie-My daughter-My life! You are the coolest person on the planet.”
When announcing the book, Tatum posed among his daughter's toys and shared, “Guys, I don’t know about you but things got a little weird for me in quarantine. I ended up accidentally locking myself in my 7 year old daughter’s room. And I ended up finding my inner child.” So, what has he found this time? His inner glam goddess? We support it.
