From Costars to Couple: Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox’s Relationship Timeline Photos

The Texas native declared himself “locked in” to his relationship with Fox on the August 14 episode of Thirst Tweets for BuzzFeed Celeb. “I’m locked in already right now,” he replied to a fan who asked him out on a date. “No dates for me. Probably ever.”

Kelly also turned down another fan’s offer to let him “suck [their] toes.” He responded, “Like I said, I’m only sucking one pair of toes.”

While driving together, the twosome were excited to hear Kelly’s “Bloody Valentine” song play on the radio for the first time.

The duo partied the night away at the Dream Hotel in Los Angeles ahead of the release of Kelly's new album, Tickets to My Downfall. Fox lent her voice to one of the album's interludes, gushing over the nights they spent together. "I burn other memories just to make room for those ones," Kelly says on the brief song. "Because also if the world was coming to an end, I don't wanna close my eyes without feeling like I lived."

The Big Time Adolescence actor shared how Fox has made him a “better” person. “I think the universe caught on to me wanting to make a change. It was like, ‘Maybe we won’t make this a reality; maybe we’ll make this ironic,’” he told NME. “Instead of the downfall, go ahead and have the biggest rise of your f--king life.”

In an interview with Nylon, Kelly opened up about how Fox has positively impacted his life. “Love is not what’s being encouraged now. In fact, it’s exactly the opposite: Everything now is isolation, dehumanization, separation,” he explained. “And f--k, dude, you have in your head that you’re this rock star, with multiple women and all that. So, finding someone that can take you out of the fast lane and make sure that you’re safe, because at any minute you can crash — I love that it can evolve into that.”

In an Interview profile, Kelly explained to Dave Franco how Fox has been helpful during his drug addiction recovery. “When you have a partner, mine being Megan, sitting there with you on those dark nights when you’re sweating and not being able to figure out why you’re so in your head, to help you get out of your head and put it in perspective, that really, really helps,” he said.

Fox and Kelly sparked engagement rumors when she was spotted wearing a huge ring on her left hand in New York City. He also sported what appeared to be costume jewelry during the outing. She reacted to the speculation by sharing an Instagram Story photo of a ring that read, “F--k you,” and adding an eye-roll emoji.

The couple attended the UFC 260: Miocic vs. Ngannou 2 event four days after Kelly was accused of cheating on ex-girlfriend Sommer Ray with Fox. The model alleged during a March 2021 appearance on the “Imapulsive” podcast that she was still dating the rapper when he met the actress. “I don’t really feel bad saying that because he did kind of cheat on me with Megan Fox,” she said. The duo, however, showed a united front while spending time in Nevada together on March 27.

The pair celebrated Kelly's 31st birthday with a whole weekend of hanging out. On April 22, his actual birthday, they headed to Malibu for dinner at Nobu. Then, on April 24, the Jennifer's Body actress supported her boyfriend at his concert in Jacksonville, Florida. After the show, she posted a photo to her Instagram Stories that shows her jumping into his arms and wrapping her legs around him. Later, they headed to a UFC 261 fight where they kept up their PDA frenzy by holding hands backstage.

“Happy Birthday blonde angel baby 🙇🏼🎂,” Fox captioned a sweet couple’s snap via Instagram to cap off MGK’s birthday in April 2021. The pair also attended a party with pals, including Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, at Los Angeles hotspot Delilah.

The couple raised eyebrows in February 2021 when the rapper revealed that he wears a necklace with Fox’s blood in it around his neck. Three months later, Kelly explained why that gift means so much to him while appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “Well, she was actually going out of town to film a movie. This was really new in our relationship,” the musician said in May 2021. “I didn’t have a passport either. So, she was going out to Bulgaria so I was kind of freaking out, like, ‘You’re gonna leave and I can’t even come see you.'” As a result, the mother of three gave him the pendant, which he carries with him when he isn’t wearing it. “Some people give, like, a handkerchief to their partner or whatever. She gave me her DNA,” he added.

The rocker gave his love a shout-out at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards after winning Top Rock Artist, calling her “my twin soul who showed me love.” The couple also showed off a ton of PDA and stuck out their tongues when they hit the awards show red carpet together.

Fox reflected on her first impression of Kelly in a profile for The Washington Post. The pair only worked together for two days on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass, but she knew his name and that he “was a tall, blond tattooed rapper.” However, she did not see their “magical” connection coming.

During an interview with Who What Wear, Fox revealed that she made a pros and cons list before officially deciding to date the musician. "When I met him, I knew instantly that this is a soul I’ve traveled with before, that this was a soul-mate connection, and that there was a purpose here," she explained at the time. The rap star recalled a “bad” injury while trying to impress the actress before the pair started seeing one another.

“[My coccyx injury] was also right when I started to date Megan and I was holding it together,” he explained on an episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “It was a bad night. I won the beer pong match [with Post Malone], I went home [and] Travis [Barker] got me this knife that had an engravement from the new album on it, and I was like, 'Ah, check this out. This is sick.' And I threw it up, and it stuck in my hand. You know how you throw it up, and you're supposed to catch it? I looked at her, and I was like, 'Check this out.’”

He added at the time, “And then the next morning as soon as she left, I was like, 'Yo, I need stitches real quick. I've got a bruised coccyx and a knife in my hand.’”

The Last Son star admitted that his love was the “only reason” he signed onto Randall Emmett’s Midnight in the Switchgrass.

“We were filming a movie, which ironically the only reason I took the movie was because they were like, 'Your scenes with Megan Fox,’ and I was like, 'I'll take the movie,’" he revealed on the Drew Barrymore Show on December 10. “I stayed outside the trailer, and my gut is always right and I'm grateful for it because for some reason I knew she would invite me for lunch. Then, all of a sudden, someone came over and was like, 'Megan wants to know if you want to have lunch in her trailer.' And I was like, 'Oh my God, I'm so surprised. Yeah, absolutely.’ I went in there and she said, ‘How do you feel?’ And I said, ‘I’m lost.’”

After Fox told him, “Well, let’s find you,” the musician knew he was lovestruck, telling host Drew Barrymore, “Killed me. She was cupid.”

As the couple celebrated Christmas in cozy pajamas and Santa hats, the Dirt star played a round of Bop-It while his girlfriend watched his progress. However, after nailing a few turns, Kelly broke the game as he “bopped it” against his bottom. The Transformers actress shook her head in the background before asking him, “Why?”
