Halsey Is Pregnant, and She Revealed the News With a Baby Bump Shoot
Halsey is pregnant!
The pop star announced the news on Wednesday, January 27, with a stunning baby bump shoot done by photographer Sam Dameshek. Click here to see the pics.
Halsey tagged producer and screenwriter Alev Aydin in the post, placing it directly on her bump, which might indicate they’re expecting this child together. Both E! News and Us Weekly are reporting this.
“Surprise,” Halsey captioned the photos alongside rainbow, baby bottle, and baby emojis.
People reports Aydin wrote in the comments, “Heart so full, I love you, sweetness.” To this Halsey said, “I love you!!!!! And I love this mini human already!” Aydin also shared Halsey's announcement on his Instagram Stories with two heart emojis.
She looks stunning in the photos, wearing jeans, a rainbow knit bikini top, and her signature hair cut super short. Her colorful eye makeup is the perfect complement to the ensemble.
Halsey has been open about the miscarriage she had a few years ago—just hours before going on tour. “It’s the most inadequate I’ve ever felt,” she told The Guardian in 2020. “Here I am achieving this out-of-control life, and I can’t do the one thing I’m biologically put on this earth to do. Then I have to go onstage and be this sex symbol of femininity and empowerment? It is demoralizing.”
The singer has struggled with endometriosis, a condition that causes the tissue that normally lines the uterus to grow outside it and can lead to infertility in up to half of the women with the diagnosis.

And the sensation of looking a couple hundred teenagers in the face while you’re bleeding through your clothes and still having to do the show, and realizing in that moment that I never want to make that choice ever again of doing what I love or not being able to because of this disease [endometriosis].”
But she revealed in that 2020 Guardian interview that her latest prognosis was positive and motherhood was “looking like something that’s gonna happen for me. That’s a miracle.” Now it’s happening!
