Here's How Your Favorite Celebrities Celebrated the End of 2020

"Sober new year is l i t," wrote Chrissy Teigen.

After a year like 2020, not celebrating New Year's Eve was not an option. Although the pandemic forced many of us to stick to parties of one or two, celebrities and non-famous people alike still found ways to ring in 2021 in style.

Here's how your favorite celebrities said “goodbye and good riddance” to 2020, as Anderson Cooper so eloquently put it.

Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen

The news anchor and Bravo host rang in 2021 by hosting CNN's New Year's Eve special, and the pair got delightfully drunk on national television. Cooper losing it during the Snoop Dogg segment was an absolute highlight of their night, but you can see all the most hilarious moments here

Jennifer Lopez

Over on Ryan Seacrest's New Years Rockin' Eve special, Jennifer Lopez got emotional before her performance. "If this year taught us anything, it taught us to be grateful for what we do have—to cherish every moment," she said with tears in her eyes, per People. "We lost too many. Too many."

She continued, "So tonight we’re going to live, we’re going to love and we’re going to dance again. And we’re going to keep on dreaming. Twenty years ago, I sang this song, and we never needed it more than tonight."

Then JLo left it all on the stage.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas

Yes, the married couple wore those cheesy New Year's Eve glasses. What of it?

Harry Styles and Phoebe Waller-Bridge

Obviously, this was filmed before its release on January 1, 2021, but Styles and Waller-Bridge shared their glittery music video for “Treat People With Kindness” just in time to start the new year off right. The dancing! The sequins! The champagne!!

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

The singer and cookbook author brought in the New Year with another couple, Jen Atkin and Mike Rosenthal. Teigen referenced her recent sobriety while sharing a video of their game night. "Cinnamon rolling into the new year lol sober new year is l i t," she wrote.

Elsa Hosk

Hosk shared pics of her baby bump along with her thoughts as we enter the new year. “This year brought more change than I thought I could handle... the world turned upside down and we were uncertain, scared, we suffered loss, we learned about each other more than ever even though we couldn’t see each other,” she wrote. “The silver lining in all of it for me was having the time and silence to reflect and find out what was truly in my heart. We decided to have a baby. I sold my apartment in NYC. Bought the house of my dreams and moved across the country to LA.”

She continued, “Here I am a few weeks from giving birth and feeling grateful for the pain, stress, change and fear because out of it came something so positive and made me stronger. Kinda glad 2020 is over though....Happy new year to all of you- Here’s to a less crazy 2021 ❤️❤️❤️”
