The actor, activist, and icon, shares the low-maintenance products she can't live without.
Jane Fonda Drops Her Skin-Care Routine
For a woman with access to pretty much anything she could want, Jane Fonda's skin care routine is surprisingly simple. And while at first it may come as a shock, it actually makes total sense: The woman is busy. Over the past several months, the 83-year-old actor and activist has mastered the art of TikTok—reviving her iconic workout series on the platform—and has taken her Fire Drill Fridays initiative virtual. Last month, she took a trip to Minnesota to protest a crude oil pipeline in her ongoing fight for against climate disaster.
When it comes to her skin, her troubles are a little easier to conquer. “It's just about keeping my skin from being dry," Fonda tells Glamour. “As I've gotten older, my skin and hair have become even drier. So keeping moisturized and protected with sunscreen is pretty important.”
Pre-Covid, her routine was a little more involved, as she would see facialist Mila Moursi every two weeks. “She’s the best in the world, she’s got magic hands,” she says. "It’s the most unbelievable facial. It’s very muscular—it feels so good and it just awakens your skin." She would also be sure to see a derm every six months for skin checks, as she used to be a “sun worshipper."
So what exactly has made it into her streamlined skin-care regimen? Read on as Jane Fonda drops her routine.
My Cleansers
I tend to shift around. Uncle Bud's has a foaming cleanser that I really like. If I don't have a lot of makeup on, though, I'll use L'Oréal's face wipes.

Catherine Deneuve told me a long time ago, like in the '60s, that she switched up her skin creams and didn't always use the same one. And I've heard in the subsequent decades from people who seem to be in the know that that tends to be good for you. So I do that—all to avoid dry skin. I current favorites in rotation are Uncle Bud's Face Lotion, L'Oréal Age Perfect, and Mila Moursi skin lotion.

I use Uncle Bud's Body Lotion, and on the places that have the most sun damage, like my lower arms, my lower legs, and my chest, I use Weleda Skin Food. I have osteoarthritis, so when I ache, I use Uncle Bud's roll-on for pain relief.

I've been using CBD for about two and a half years to go to sleep. I use a company called Dosist, they have a white ends with a little window on one end where you can see the oil and it vibrates when you've taken a puff.
