Jennifer Lopez Reportedly Unfollowed Alex Rodriguez on Instagram and Deleted Their History

She only left a few reminders of their relationship.

Four months after Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez called off their engagement, it appears J.Lo has finally cleaned house. And by house, we mean her Instagram feed.

According to Us Weekly, the pop star completed the time-honored tradition of purging her grid of all photos of her ex-fiancé—a pretty pivotal move when you've secured a new Instagram husband. (Before you jump to any conclusions, that's the term for any romantic partner who is now tasked with taking all the vacation pics and OOTDs, regardless of actual marital status.)

But back to Rodriguez. Aside from deleting almost every trace of him from her feed, including their engagement pics, there also appears to be a change in the accounts Lopez follows. Of the 1,314 incredibly lucky people on this list, the former Yankees player is nowhere to be found. Though it's unclear when she hit “unfollow,” Rodriguez has not yet returned the favor and also continues to follow multiple J.Lo fan accounts.

According to Us Weekly, Lopez only left a few pieces of evidence that the four-year relationship happened at all. The publication notes that the Hustlers star did not delete any photos or videos that feature their children, including a video wither A-Rod and her 13-year-old son Max from March 2020 as well as multiple pics with his daughters, 16-year-old Natalie and 13-year-old Ella

In April 2021, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez confirmed their split in a mutual statement to Today. "We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” they said at the time. “We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”

While Rodriguez was reportedly “willing to do anything” to reconcile with Lopez in the days following their announcement, the baseball player eventually realized that wasn't in the cards when Lopez reignited her decades-old romance with Ben Affleck later that month. The pair have been attached at the hip ever since.

“When they first split, he wanted to work things out, and still held on to hope that he and J.Lo would get back together,” a source told  Entertainment Tonight in June. “He's come to terms with the fact that it's over now.”
