Kanye West Seemingly Implies He Cheated on Kim Kardashian in His New Song
Did Kanye West cheat on Kim Kardashian? That appears to be what the rapper implies on his new song, “Hurricane,” released from his 10th studio album, Donda.
“Here I go actin' too rich / Here I go with a new chick / And I know what the truth is / Still playin' after two kids / It's a lot to digest when your life always movin’,” West raps on the song, according to People.
There aren't many ways to interpret these lyrics. Quite plainly, it sounds like West is saying he was unfaithful to Kardashian in their marriage, specifically after they welcomed their first two children, North and Saint. But of course, we can't be 100% sure of anything until Kardashian or West confirm.
That being said, a source does tell People the lyrics on West's new album are “in a way [his] testimony of everything he did wrong and his apology and taking accountability.” Reps didn't respond to People when asked for comment.
The dissolution of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's marriage was addressed on the last season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. “He deserves someone that can go support his every move and go follow him all over the place and move to Wyoming,” Kardashian said about West in an episode, crying. “I can’t do that…. I feel like a fucking failure that it’s, like, a third fucking marriage. I feel like a fucking loser. But I can’t even think about that. I want to be happy.”
Rumors that the two were splitting up started swirling at the beginning of 2021. “They are keeping it low-key but they are done,” a source told Page Six in January. “[Kanye] knows that she’s done. She has had enough, and she told him she wants some space to figure out her future.”
