Lady Gaga Went Full-On ‘Hunger Games’ for Her Inauguration Day Outfit

The pin!

Lady Gaga gave a stunning performance of the national anthem at President Joe Biden’s inauguration. And of course, she did it wearing a legendary outfit.

The Chromatica singer wore a flowing red skirt, navy top, and gold pin for the occasion, keeping her hair in a tight braid. Her outfit was reminiscent of something you might see in The Hunger Games: dramatic, colorful, and powerful.

Check it out for yourself, below. She looks so gorgeous!

It’s not just me comparing Lady Gaga’s inauguration look to The Hunger Games. Peep these fan reactions:

Ahead of her inauguration performance, Gaga took to Instagram and wrote, “I pray tomorrow will be a day of peace for all Americans. A day for love, not hatred. A day for acceptance not fear. A day for dreaming of our future joy as a country. A dream that is non-violent, a dream that provides safety for our souls. Love, from the Capitol.”

After Biden won the election in 2020, Gaga said on Instagram Stories, “I’m so happy. Thank you so much to every American for participating in this election. Thank you so much for all the people who worked to move this country for change. I am so excited, congratulations to Joe. We really really are so happy and we have a wonderful president now. I hope you are all celebrating. I hope all the women know that there is a really exciting moment and change. I hope that peoples’ voices who have been oppressed, I hope you know that your voices were heard. I am just, I am honestly kind of speechless… this is a very very special day.”

Lady Gaga is expected to have a busy year, shooting a movie this spring and then going on tour to promote her Chromatica album later this summer (coronavirus restrictions willing).
