The Laguna Beach alum and Love Wellness founder shares the products she relies on for glowing skin, from the inside out.
Lo Bosworth Drops Her Skin-Care Routine
Lo Bosworth is all grown up. While you may remember her as LC's bubbly blonde best friend on Laguna Beach and The Hills, today she's a full-blown business woman. Bosworth—who is still very bubbly and very blonde, FYI—founded the women's wellness brand Love Wellness in her living room in 2016. Now, five years later, the brand is stocked on the shelves of mega-retailers like Target and Ulta, and the products have 5-star reviews in the thousands.
The brand offers supplements, vaginal care, and probiotics, which have become a corner stone of the line. “I feel like probiotics are the new multivitamin,” Bosworth tells Glamour. “We live in a modern world where much of what we eat, what we encounter when it comes to the environment, and with what we put on our skin, is disrupting the different microbiomes in our body, from our gut microbiome to our skin microbiome to our actual microbiome. So it's a really exciting time in science when it comes to probiotics, because we're starting to discover all of these different strains that serve different functions in in on the body."
Bosworth believes in an inside-out philosophy when it comes to beauty, but she doesn't leave it at that. She loves a product—her picks span from a $10 scrub to a $245 serum—and isn't afraid of injectables. “My biggest concerns are definitely hormonal acne and anti-aging,” she says. “I'm just starting to notice my skin around my eyes getting more thin. I get Botox, and it absolutely helps and works, and I get under eye filler. I'm always on the lookout for amazing products that tighten the skin.”
For Glamour's latest Drop the Routine, Bosworth breaks down her entire routine, from an eye cream that knocks out puffiness to a skin-changing vitamin C serum.
My Supplements
When it comes to probiotics, we're still learning a lot about the gut-skin access, the gut-brain axis, the gut-vagina access—all of these bacteria are created in the gut, and then it helps to populate the bacteria in these different microbiomes. So when it comes to the skin, you could be using products that are completely eroding your skin microbiome, causing you to have all of these issues—dryness, pimples, acne. The purpose of our new Clear Skin Probiotics is to help restore that skin microbiome so that your body and your skin can be at its best on its own how nature intended. I've been taking Clear Skin for the past couple months, because I was dealing with maskne and hormonal acne, and I've seen a huge improvement in my skin, especially with the hormonal acne.
I also take two other products from Love Wellness that are super, super helpful. Good to Glow is kind of our general anti-aging supplement. It's full of collagen, ashwagandha, vitamin C, and vitamin E, so it's a great day-to-day supplement. And then Sparkle Fiber is our veggie fiber plus digestive enzymes in a single capsule. You would be shocked how much skin is related to digestion. So it's not just probiotics, it's also increasing the fiber content in your body so that you're easing that natural process of detoxification—when you're increasing fiber and going to the bathroom, your skin is going to absolutely glow.

First is the Dr. Devgan Advanced Revitalizing Cleanser. I use this morning and night; it's a great basic gentle cleanser. Acure Brightening Facial Scrub is my favorite scrub. It's affordable and the best scrub I've ever used. I absolutely love it. I use it a couple times a week as I need it, mostly after I've been at the beach on the weekends. I feel like it's gentle enough that you could use it every day, but I'm more of an “as I need it” kind of girl.

I only started using this a couple months ago, but I love the Bioderma Micellar Water for combination-oily skin. I don't know what it is about this, but it's so good. It just feels like this extra cleansing and toning; I don't know if it has a true effect, but my skin has been looking really good since I've been using this. It's less shiny throughout the day. I know it's a cleanser, but I use it as more of a toner. I wash my face, and then I use it to help get extra makeup off. In the morning, it just sets my skin nicely for the rest of the day.

I use two products from Dr. Devgan both AM and PM. The first is the Vitamin C+B+E Ferulic Serum, and the second is her hyaluronic acid serum. My skin has never looked better; it's so smooth, and all of my discoloration is going away. It's really remarkable. I love those two products.
And then this product is really interesting, the Ren Evercalm Anti-Redness Serum. I use this in the morning when I need it. I have a lot of redness on my cheeks, and I think this calms the capillaries or something. I don't frankly know how it works, but it works! It's really nice for sensitive skin.

At night I use the Strivectin S.T.A.R. Light Retinol Night Oil; it has bakuchiol in it, retinol, and all that kind of stuff. It smells really good, and it's a nice light oil.
I actually rotate the ArtNaturals Lactic Acid with the Strivectin night oil, and I don't use them every night. My dermatologist told me that's actually better, but I think there are conflicting opinions on that. I've seen great results using it every couple of nights; so when I use the lactic acid, I don't use the night oil because you don't want to combine them.

I use Shiseido. It blends in really nicely with makeup, but I use it all over in SPF 50. It's incredible; it's so smooth and soft.

I use the Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Eye Treatment. I don't know what it does, but the sales guy at Ulta was like, “This is what you need.” Because I always wake up with really puffy eyelids. I use this on my eyelids, not just on my under eyes, and I do feel like it helps with puffiness.

My favorite thing to do is use my Rosehip Seed Oil from the ordinary and my Gua Sha and just go to town. I do this whenever my face is puffy and needs some lymphatic drainage.
The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil
This oil is one of my most beloved must-haves. After searching for an inexpensive rosehip oil (I personally don’t believe in paying over $20 for a single oil), I finally decided to try this one, and I’m so glad I did. It’s great for moisturizing and nourishing my skin, yet it still feels lightweight. Using it in tandem with a retinol has significantly faded my postacne hyperpigmentation, and it definitely makes a difference in the glow factor. I will say it has a slightly earthy smell, but for skin this good, I’m willing to overlook it. —B.C. $10The OrdinaryMount Lai Gua Sha Facial Lifting Tool

I love Versed, it's so good and so cheap. I've been using the turmeric clay mask. It's insane. It's a super brightening mask, but it doesn't dry out your skin at all. I love it; it's my favorite mask right now.
And I do love the Peter Thomas Roth under eye ones. I keep them in the refrigerator. I like to put them under my eyes, but also over my eyes and on my smile lines. I literally put them everywhere all over my face.

My all time favorite is Bag Balm. You can get it at CVS. I love this stuff. It's an old-school product, and I've been using it forever, but it works so well. A makeup artist taught me about it years ago, and I always have it.

I go to GLO Spa in New York. My friend Sai Demirovic owns it, and she's amazing. She does this jet peel—it's insane, it's like this thing that suctions all the goop out of your face, but also puts serums in. I love that. I try to go once a month.
