“Go f*ck yourself.”
Megan Fox Responds to ‘Ridiculous’ Criticism Over Her and Machine Gun Kelly’s Age Gap
Megan Fox is over Hollywood's double standards—especially when it comes to her private life.
In a new interview with InStyle, the Jennifer's Body star took aim at those who criticize the age difference between Fox and her current boyfriend, Colson Baker (a.k.a. Machine Gun Kelly). The dreaded age gap in question? Four years.
“You want to talk about patriarchy?” Fox asks. “The fact that he's four years younger than me, and people want to act like I'm dating a younger man. He's 31, and I'm 35. Granted, he's lived like he's 19 his whole life, but he isn't 19. No one would blink twice if George Clooney was dating someone four years younger.” Clooney is, in fact, 17 years older than his wife, Amal Clooney.
“Four years? Go fuck yourself,” Fox continued (though it should be noted this is not directed at the interviewer but at her critics). “We would have been in high school together. That's so ridiculous that women are treated that way.”

Case in point: Megan Fox is not the only one in her current relationship who has kids, but for whatever reason (*cough* misogyny *cough*), she is supposedly the only one repeatedly asked about their whereabouts. While Fox has three children—Noah, Bodhi, and Journey—with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, MGK has an 11-year-old daughter, Casie, with ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon.
“There's so much judgment,” Fox tells InStyle, adding that she's often asked, “Where are your kids?” on red carpets or out in public with Baker. “Do you ask their dad when he's out?” she shoots back, hypothetically. “No, because you don't expect a dad to be with the kids all the time, but I'm supposed to not be seen and be at home with my kids. They have another parent. I have to leave, and sometimes I don't want them photographed and they don't come with me. This whole year I've been very surprised by how archaic some of the mindsets still are in some people.”
