Nicki Minaj Just Shared the First Photos of Her Baby Son's Face
Nicki Minaj is following through on a recent promise to a fan.
On December 30, the rapper replied, “I'll let you be the judge of that,” after a fan on Twitter asked if her newborn baby (nicknamed “papa bear”) look more like Minaj or her husband, Kenneth Petty. Now, just a few days later, Minaj has shared the first full photos and video of her newborn baby boy.
“#PapaBear thank you so very much for choosing me to be your mama 🎀🦄🙏 ,” she captioned a series of photos on January 2 of her 3-month-old son, who even wore a necklace emblazoned with his nickname. Designer looks worn by the baby boy in the photos include Fendi, Gucci, Versace, Burberry, and more.
“Wishing you guys a happy & prosperous New Year. Thank you for your love & support throughout this journey," Minaj continued her tribute in honor of her fans. “It’s meant so much to me.”
She ended her post with a message to fellow moms, especially those who were pregnant amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. "Becoming a mom is by far the most fulfilling job I’ve ever taken on. Sending love to all the superhero mothers out there. Big hugs to all the women who have been pregnant during this challenging time.”

Though Nicki Minaj welcomed her baby boy back in September 2020, she has yet to reveal his name or, until now, a look at his sweet, smiling face. In fact, she didn't give fans a glimpse at her son until late October, when she shared a closeup of his little foot with the caption, “Happy Anniversary, my love. ♥️”
It's no surprise Minaj is referring to motherhood as her “most fulfilling job.” The “Moment 4 Life” hitmaker has been dreaming of having children for years. “Ten years from now, I will have two children, unless my husband wants three,” she told Cosmopolitan in 2015. “I will be into my fitness a lot more, I will stop yo-yo dieting, and I'll be a housewife with careers that I can run from home. I want to be able to cook for my children, bake cookies for them, and watch them grow up."
She continued, "I just want to be mommy. Take them to school, go to the parent-teacher conference, help them with their homework, and put their work on the refrigerator.”
Hopefully, she'll continue to share sweet moments like this along the way!
