She can't not win!
Simone Biles Just Made History at the 2021 U.S. Gymnastics Championships
Another day, another history-making routine by gymnast Simone Biles. The Olympic champion, currently prepping for the Tokyo Games and widely considered the greatest athlete in the sport right now (or ever?), just won her seventh consecutive all-around title at the 2021 U.S. Gymnastics Championships. This makes her the first woman to ever claim seven crowns at the event, where she's been undefeated since 2013.
Her total score for the competition, held over the weekend, was 119.650, and she also won titles for vault, balance beam, and floor routine, per JustJared.
It was her performance on the uneven bars, though, that went viral, racking up hundreds of thousands of views from fans happy to see Biles land a difficult trick.

As one commenter put it, "[Once] in a lifetime athlete. I hate how loosely the term 'GOAT' is thrown around in sports, but in Simone's case...she's absolutely the Greatest of all time. Absolutely ridiculous how dominant she is.”

Greatest of All Time, or G.O.A.T., is a moniker Biles wears proudly, and literally, on her sleeve. One of her bedazzled leotards has a goat's head made out of jewels on the shoulder.
And while an animal is worth a thousand words, Simone Biles did make a more verbal statement after taking home title seven. She said, “It’s really emotional, especially going into my second time doing an Olympic run…It’s really crazy, and I appreciate everyone that’s come out to watch and support us, especially after the year we’ve had.”
In an earlier interview, Biles opened up about what it means to be returning to the Olympics after the sexual abuse scandal that rocked the gymnastics world “I knew I had more to give to the sport for myself and I felt like I had a purpose…God called me,” she told Today back in April. “I just feel like [with] everything that happened, I just had to come back to the sport, to be a voice, to have change happen.”
