The First ‘Sex and the City’ Reboot Clip Is Here, and We Have a Carrie and Big Update
And just like that, HBO Max debuted the first footage from And Just Like That…, the Sex and the City revival coming later this year.
A lot happened during the 2021 Emmys: Emma Corrin wore a bonnet, Rita Wilson rapped, and Jennifer Coolidge wore a cape, so you might have missed it.
During a trailer for upcoming HBO and HBO Max shows, including Succession and Euphoria, quick And Just Like That… clips play, including one with Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw saying, “And just like that,” while wearing a brown cap with a red feather on it.
Another clip shows Carrie and Big experiencing a big (sorry) romantic moment in a kitchen. But it probably won't be all romance for the tumultuous twosome: Over the summer a script leak indicated that Carrie and Big will, as always, experience some hardships. You can find the footage from And Just Like That… below, around the 25-second mark.

The path to the Sex and the City revival has been a long and painful one (like, just as painful as watching Sex and the City 2). Rumors of a revival have circled for years, and we lost Samantha along the way, who is not in And Just Like That….
Over the past several months, we've seen plenty of images from the set of And Just Like That…, which has been filming around New York City since June. Most recently, images of Sarah Jessica Parker in a tutu—a nod to Carrie Bradshaw's outfit in the iconic opening credits—surfaced. We've also been spoiled with other images of Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis gallivanting around New York City in incredible ’fits. The only thing missing is Kim Cattrall.
HBO gave the people what they want with some fresh footage to confirm this is really happening and not all in our heads, but it's not enough. Hopefully, this indicates a trailer and a release date are coming soon.
