The Trailer for 'The Kissing Booth 3’ Is Here!

Netflix just released the premiere date and must-see photos.

It's been nearly a year since Netflix announced there would be a Kissing Booth 3, the hit rom-com based on The Kissing Booth books by Beth Reekles, starring Joey King, Jacob Elordi and Joel Courtney. And now, on July 6, we finally have a jam-packed trailer plus first look photos.

Per Netflix, “it’s the summer before Elle heads to college, and she’s facing the hardest decision of her life: whether to move across the country with her dreamy boyfriend Noah or fulfill her lifelong promise to go to college with her BFF Lee. Whose heart will Elle break?” Um, how about which decision will make Elle happiest?  We'll have to wait until August 11 to find out, but until then, check out the trailer and the new images below!

We'll update this post as more details become available.

Original story: It’s officially official! On Sunday, July 26—three days after The Kissing Booth 2 premiered on Netflix—the cast announced in a Live YouTube event that The Kissing Booth 3 is happening. “It’s true!” Joey King announced. “It’s because of everyone on here that this all happened.” In fact, the third movie has already completed filming, wrapping up as the cast was on location for the second movie in South Africa, and will premiere in 2021. “It was the hardest secret to keep,” Joel Courtney said.

The third film was, once again, directed by Vince Marcello, and based on The Kissing Booth books by Beth Reekles. Joey King will return as star and executive producer, along with cast members Joel Courtney, Jacob Elordi, Taylor Zakhar Perez, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Meganne Young, and Molly Ringwald.

King also had Marcello and Reekles unveil an exclusive first look clip (see below) of TKB3 in which a carefree and happy Elle, Noah, Lee, and Rachel are hanging out at the pool when Elle gets a call from Harvard’s administration office. She declines the call, but when Noah asks if everything is OK, she says it’s fine. She then whispers in his ear and Noah responds, “Yes, I would like that very much,” to which she says, “Yeah, I thought you might.” The two playfully go inside the house because according to Elle, Noah wants to read her some poetry. (Is that what all the kids say now?) Lee and Rachel know they’re up to something, but let them go off and do their thing.

If you’ll remember (and how could you not), The Kissing Booth 2 ended on a cliffhanger, with Elle having yet to decide if she’ll attend Berkeley or Harvard, and Marco harboring some serious feelings for her. “He’s not over Elle at all,” Zakhar Perez told Glamour. “I would like justice for Marco!”

Richardson-Sellers was vocal about wanting a third movie as well. “I want to see more of Elle and Chloe’s friendship. There’s so much left unsaid.”

Here's everything we know so far about The Kissing Booth 3:

The premiere date. August 11, 2021. Netflix confirmed the date in July 2021.

Taylor Zakhar Perez loved working with the cast. “The cast was so lovely to work with that it would be wonderful to get back together,” he told Glamour. “It’s fun and light-hearted, especially during these times. I hope we get to bring some fun and joy to the audience for the third.”

Marco still has feelings for Elle (duh). “Yeah, I don’t think he is over Elle at all,” Zakhar Perez said. “At the end of the movie when Marco’s buddy says, ‘Come on, dude, she’s not worth it,’ and Marco says, ‘Yeah, she is,’ you’re like, What?! How do you leave it at that knowing what could happen?”

The Kissing Booth 2 is now streaming on Netflix.
