Here for this friendship!
Watch Angelina Jolie Shove Salma Hayek's Face Into a Cake in Honor of Her 55th Birthday
Salma Hayek just celebrated her 55th birthday with a little help from her friend Angelina Jolie.
One day after Hayek's birthday on September 2, the actor shared an adorable video from the festivities with Jolie, her brother Sami Hayek, and a group of friends. “My brother and me trying to teach Angie how to do the mexican mordida,” Hayek captioned the post. “Mi hermano sami y yo enseñandole a #anjelinajolie como se hace la mordida!”
In the video, the group chants "Mordida! Mordida!" until Jolie reluctantly shoves Hayek's face into the cake for the first bite, as part of a Mexican birthday tradition. “Do it,” you can hear Hayek say to Jolie as the actor and philanthropist psyches herself up.

Speaking of adventures, Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie are set to star in Marvel's Eternals, which was directed by Chloé Zhao and also features Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Richard Madden, and Kit Harington.
“Five years ago, Thanos erased half of the population of the universe. The people of this planet brought everyone back with a snap of a finger,” Hayek narrates at the top of the film's final trailer. “The sudden return of the population provided the necessary energy for the emergence to begin.”
From there, we meet the Eternals, a group of immortal beings tasked with protecting humans from the “deviants,” which appear to be some very creepy monster-looking things that the group has seven days to destroy.
“We've loved these people since the day we arrived,” Jolie says later in the trailer, donning a pretty stunning blonde wig and superhero costume. “When you love something, you protect it.”
Needless to say, we're pretty hyped for this upcoming addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universal, which hits theaters on November 5. But we're also very much here for the friendship blooming between two of its leads. Happy birthday, Salma Hayek!
